Here is a PSR (Public Service Rant) for my friends out there who think the scale is the end all and be all of their existence!

PLEASE Google an article titled: "Why the Scale Lies" and understand the fruitless nature of your frantic worry.

Weight is a one dimensional measure impacted by water, sodium, sleep, hormones, mood and elimination. STOP the focus.

Use a measuring tape, your clothes or bodyfat percentage to better celebrate your progress.

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto

Short Range Goals:

* Movement down on the Idiot Boxes while retaining muscle by year end 2018
* Bodyfat % reading with trainer when I hit 175lb consistently
* Drink at least 12-14 cups of fresh water daily - especially on gym days
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting four to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Long Range Goals: 2018/2019
*Bodyfat at 26% or less (Current 29.8%) by end 2018/early 2019
*Longer range body fat goal is 22% - which at my age is great!
*Maintain 160lbs staying under goal weight by end 2018/early 2019
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

Good word, thanks! Even though I use scales(sometimes waaaay too much) I also use how many holes are left in my belts and the tightness of my pants. I weigh at the same time of day and it really fluctuates daily and I always tell my general practitioner and the endocrinologist that their scales are way the hell off!!😂😂😂

absolutely true HCB! :) {Weight is a one dimensional measure impacted by water, sodium, sleep, hormones, mood and elimination. STOP the focus. } I do weigh every day, but mainly go by my belt fit and occasional tape check, not the scale. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Yup, I went down an entire clothing size with no movement on the scale because I lift very heavy weights.

The scale lies! :) At lower weight it becomes worthless. I did a 4 pound swing in a 6 hour period.
