Absolutely do what works for you! I have NO IDEA how many carbs I’m eating and my loss is 1-2 pounds a week.

I very rarely eat meat and count calories. Lost about 18-19 pounds and ate what I like only cutting out the high calorie stuff like pasta and potatoes. It’s not been too difficult but now that I’m in maintenance mode it’s gotten a little harder.

Everyone is different but I am with you! I count calories and I keep an eye on carb intake anything over 55% I slow down.. but calories is enough for me count without my head spinning. congrats on weight loss and new counting method!!

I do the same. I couldn't stick with low carb for any long haul as it made me sick to my stomach all the time. Had to evaluate and find another way. Tracking calories, averaging over a week or so. I over one day adapt a ew days to bring the average down. I don't eat much meat or lots of fat as it doesn't work well with me. So whatever works for you and makes you feel good and fits your life is the way to go. Don't "diet" find a way for you for life.

Carbs are delicious 🤤 n they are not the ones we need to restrict. We (if we care about weight) need to watch those calories 👀
