Trying to stay on track but man, those hidden carbs sneak up on you really fast. My whole life I believed that lettuce and tomatoes could do nothing but good for me, now I find they alone can kick me right out of ketosis. Darn it.

I have to admit, it is difficult to not think in terms of what is "healthy" from what we have heard for years and years from the government, nutritionists, our family and friends...and the amounts "needed" and amounts to "avoid". Like less fat, bunches of fruits and veggies... I look at my fat content per day now and have to tell myself... it's ok!
