Well my weekend binge of food and drinks definitely threw me out of ketosis, but that didn't come as a shocker, I sort of expected it. I know it takes about 48hrs to get it going again, so hopefully tomorrow I will start to see signs of being back on track. I went ahead and weighed in today....not good. I've gained 2lbs! It's hard to accept that you can work so hard for so many weeks to lose 2lbs, and after just 1 weekend, gain it back! I've done Atkins before, lost the weight and then went back to my "normal eating habits" and gained it back. That's why it's so important to me to do it right this time and find out what my carb allowance will be once I've lost the weight so that I can maintain my goal weight by just watching my carb intake and never have to "diet" again!

Thanks Joseph for the words of encouragement, we all need them from time to time to stay motivated!
