another day. Walks with the puppies tonight, friends coming into town tomorrow. It's always harder to keep the calories down when we have house guests. Any tips?

If eating in, you should try to have a few choices, so you can choose to eat what is good for you, and your guests have a few options as well. If eating out, try to be disciplined and make good choices off the menu and not be influenced by what others are ordering.
