Day 3 of 42.
I've exercised two of the past three days. YAY! And, I do drink a lot of water - so that's good....

However, I continue to struggle with eating. It seems like it takes forever to reestablish positive habits after I've strayed. It doesn't even matter if it's only one day! I do keep a journal and have since October and have found no "triggers" that cause this to happen. I'm thinking it's "sabotage" brought on by "self". It seeems that when I go down a size, I do this to myself. Why?

So, today I start recording every day in this journal. I'm hoping that developing this new habit helps with self-discipline. My goal is to have my graph look like when I first started.

Great going with the exercise! You challenged me in the last challenge... so I'll keep checking up on you and you can do the same with me if you'd like to. Ooh yes, tell me about straying... I haven't exactly been the model eater myself the last couple of days - it got worse today when I devoured a load of cashew nuts! But alas, again I tried to make up for it the rest of the day... eek, just means my fat was rather high today. Yesterday it was carbs... lol tomorrow protein? Anyways, that's a great idea to keep journalling. Do you fill your diet calendar in... as I find that helps too. You keep up the great work though and that graph will soon be going down nicely again. ;o)

It's possible that what you think is self-sabotage could just be the result of cravings. Do you still work foods you love into your menus and allow yourself small indulgences at least once a week? If not, it might help you to try it out. When we feel deprived we can so easily lose control. But the good thing is that you are aware of a pattern and you are looking for answers. I am sure you will work it out and kick your weight loss up a notch.
