crabby Kat's Notizen, 02 Okt 12

Beau took a spill today; I was at the sink brushing my teeth this morning & he jumped on the counter & went to jump into the bathroom window (which is kind of small). He lost his footing & started to fall, so I reached out to help him. Unfortunately I just twisted him around since he was already trying to change direction.

He landed on/in his water fountain, knocking off the water reservoir and getting water everywhere as he splashed into the bowl and flowing water. Poor guy. He seems no worse for it, still running around and playing.

I'm doing pretty well after yesterday's two straight hours of Zumba, only a little sore (thanks to stretches and working with my foam roller). I was too tired to cook last night, so I have chicken to cook tonight. My partner will be home late, but I'll just cook it when I'm ready; leftovers are almost as good, lol. I just won't cook any orzo as a side dish; not something I need or want.

I have errands to run after exercise class this morning; Costco, Target, fill gas tank, PetSmart, etc. I'm thankful for the cooler weather so that the car isn't like an oven when I come out of a store. I'm also thankful that I got plenty of sleep last night and the day seems full of possibilities instead of chores. I already wrote in my thankfulness journal this morning; looks like I could add several more items.

I'm thankful for Costco, Target & PetSmart!!! Even if they get all our $$$. Poor Beau. I think they get more embarassed when they goof than anything else. I used the foam roller this morning for the 4th time and it still hurts but a lot less. :)
