SATC2 was good fun. The critics ripped it to shreds over the superficial and unrealistic behaviour the women display while on holiday in Abu Dhabi (finger pointing at Sam). But surely that's the whole point of the show!? I enjoy it for its daftness and Samantha's sex drive. American critics seem to think it's about a typical representation of their culture and habits. Well, it's not exactly about suburban charity workers, is it? As I said, that's the point. Now stop worrying what the rest of the world thinks of you after watching SATC2.

Ten years ago I spent a month in an Indian tribal village in the middle of the jungle. The locals had hiked for half a day to see Titanic, which was the only exposure many had had to Western culture. We were lost for answers when asked about scenes from it and whether we life was like that. SATC would have been a much easier one to explain. Oh, and it was actually fun to watch, too.
