I just started and am down 4lbs WOW!!!!! Its been a couple of days now and its really hard NOT to eat breads, rice, potates and all that other stuff......but hopefully it will get easier. I am starting my exercise routine today, wish me luck cause this is something i have never done before. THANKS!!!!!

Way to go! Good luck with the exercise. Remember to take it slow on the exercise and increase the intensity as it gets easier.

good luck! It will get easier, but I know i still get cravings every now and then, just not as much.

When it comes to making dinner now for my partner, who isn't on my diet, I struggle to think of what to make him!!! It seems it is always a baked potato! Surely we didn't eat as much potatos when I wasn't on my diet!!!??? The craving for bread, rice, potato's soon goes! I went through my first week walking around thinking I could smell bread baking! Just the smell of the bread while making my step son's lunches for the next day had my mouth watering! I now struggle to eat a whole potato when I do allow myself the luxury! Because after all, potatos are my favourite root veg! Yum!

Good job already!! It definitely does get easier - I do not even crave bread, rice, or pasta. Though occasionally they do sound good. But in Phase 2 you can reintroduce those food items in the form of wheat bread, brown rice, and wheat pasta. My husband has actually taken a liking to the wheat pasta - it has a lot more flavor than regular pasta. Hope your day goes well! Good luck with your exercise routine!

Thats great! It is hard, but it will get easier. Drink lots of water. The first 2 weeks will go by fast and then you can add good carbs back in!
