Tomorrow will end week two of returning to exercise. This week has been 35% of pre-injury max. Although I'm sore (yes young people, get near 60 and you'll see) my body is responding nicely. Currently I believe I'm not losing weight, just exchanging fat for muscle. I'm still surprised how difficult 35% has been.
Hang in there, and make the best you, you can make--both inside and out. Your health might prohibit you from being cut and toned, but you can be thinner and healthier.
