Well, I did good at the party yesterday, kept portions reasonable, I had one hot dog with ketchup and mustard, a small scoop of pork and beans, and one brownie. We had fun, My in-laws got a new hot tub, it was nice. I didn't think i was going to get in because I don't have a swimsuit that fits, but I just wore a tank top and shorts and sucked it up.
It wasn't super hot though, thankfully, because it is summer in Texas which = HOT!!! It felt like a warm pool. My husband and his dad and brother did some target shooting. My in-laws live out in the woods and they have a spot for shooting. I shot a couple rounds from a pistol, but I didn't hit a dang thing so I gave up!
Brandon and Kaelyn had fun riding the four wheelers around before we left. Bribing her with a four-wheeler ride was the only way we could get her out of the hot tub without a fight, lol!
On the way home we stopped at the worst fast food place ever. Chicken Express. I expected at least one chicken item that wasn't fried.
No such luck. I ended up getting 2 biscuits, which were sooo greasy tasting, and a side of fake-o mashed potatoes. I felt ill after eating it and worried all the way home that each biscuit had 800 calories or something, but I looked it up on the Chicken Express website when I got home and they were under 200 each. Still ridiculous, but i fit it in. I probably would have been better off with a single piece of chicken, at least it would have had some protein.
Oh well, live and learn. I learned I do NOT want to go to Chicken Express anymore! Even KFC has healthier options, and cheaper too!
Well I didn't quite make my calories for yesterday, I was about 300 calories under, but I'm just going to have a low day today as planned.
I'd rather go under than over, and I don't want to start changing the calorie schedule already. I don't know if I'm going to work out today, I think I might just clean house and go buy groceries.
