I've been on the Dr Bernstein program since May 15. I just passed under 260 lbs and this is the lightest I've been in over 4 years.
I'm having a good time with the low carb requirement. Dr B requires lower fat as well and I'm complying with that but I'm not worried about the extra fat I may add during cooking (no vegetable oils...eating avocado, using an omega 3 supplement, using butter or olive oil).
I'm halfway to my goal of 230-235 lbs and I should get there by the end of July.
I am not adding any extra exercise to my routine but I plan to add some cardio and weights in the coming weeks to tone up.
I don't feel hungry for the most part. I've imbibed a handful of times with an skciholic drink but for the most part I've been compliant. So far, it's working
