i just caught up on journaling after 3 days out of town at the coast. it was really hard to stay 100% on track but i think i did pretty well. it's always a temptation to get quick fast food while driving but instead my boyfriend and i got sandwiches at the grocery store. i was trying to make good choices while faced with lots of yummy not so good food choices. i did snack a bit and i drank way too much diet coke (instead of the water i have been trying to do). next time while away from home i think i will write down what i eat the day of and then transfer it when i can. today i did it from memory and i think i did pretty well but i am sure i forgot some stuff. i hated seeing the blank spaces in my food log so i did the best i could to fill them out. at first i wasnt even going to fill them in, but then i decided to. today when i got back i immediately went to the gym for a long workout to kind of offset the extra calories i took in over the last few days. i feel good to have gotten right back to the swing of eating healthy and exercising. the rest of the week, i am going to record very thoroughly.

i think i will not weigh in this week if i can resist. i worked really hard last week but with my weekend snacking, i know i might not see a change on the scale. i guess i can prepare myself for that, or i can wait and hope i see some change in 10 days or so...
