Please, people in my life: Stop randomly saying, "Hey, we're going out to dinner with so-and-so." Because then I have to change my plans, and I really end up eating too many carbs.

The "onion ring" though (which was really two small portions of one of those onion blossoms) was totally my decision, though. Four months ago, I would've eaten about half of it.

Alright, great job using self control. And it is soooo hard when you get these last minute change of plans. Gives you no time to work out what you can eat. You did awesome!!

Like Stef said, great job! I have found that this diet is relatively easy to follow when eating outside the house, actually. There is always something on the menu (albeit, not my favorite) or a way to modify a meal so it is lower carbs. It usually ends up being a salad, steak or bunless burger, but at least I can enjoy a meal with good company. Wishing you luck in finding ways to manage meals while you're out... sounds like everyone wants you to be there with them, which is nice to be welcomed and invited to such outings :)
