I'm currently 12 pounds down from my highest weight with lots of fluctuations in between. My hope is to continue trending downward now that I am really paying attention to caloric intake and calories burned. I am very close to getting out of the 180's and will continue to set goals in increments of 10 pounds. At 4'11" I never thought I would get this high, but with years of not weighing myself and wearing loose fitting clothing, many calories slowly crept up on me. I carry my weight well so it was easy to be in denial, but there's no denying the cost to my health. I look forward to the health benefits getting to and maintaining a healthy weight will bring. I wouldn't have known that I was so unhealthy if I did not regularly have bloodwork. I feel strong and healthy and have always been very active which made it easy to live in the land of denial. Now I live in the land of reality! I hope everyone is moving in a positive direction. Be kind to yourself, but be honest and hold yourself accountable for achieving good health. We can do it!

You are absolutely right about holding yourself accountable. I often let myself off the hook and then wonder why I have gotten so heavy in the past year. DUH... It’s my own doing and my own hole to dig out of. Good luck!
