Today is cookie, xmas yummies baking day! Hopefully I'll have the will power to keep my fingers out of the bowl, and not be the taste tester! My kids will be around so they usually do that. I've managed to tweak most of my recipes to not be quite so fattening and they still turn out pretty good. I plan on eating lunch first and then get to cooking. figuring I'll be less likely to stray on a full stomach. it always works when i go to the grocery store. Never shop on an empty stomach!
good luck to all those holiday shoppers out there! I'm staying home! we got an ice storm this morning, so it's a great day to stay in!

Have fun with the baking! I did mine yesterday, and kept the taste-testing to a minimum. Good plan to eat lunch first.

You are so right about the full stomach thing. That really does help when you're not hungry...less likely to stray. Have a wonderful Christmas!
