Trying to balance my calorie intake with energy output in the form of regular exercise.

it helps to incorporate cardio with strength exercises like with dumbbells, so after each workout (say, 20mins worth), as you sleep, your body is still burning the calories from the workout :) i will warn you about the DOMS though, but that's a sign youre definitely got the afterburn! and the only way to remedy it is with more exercise lol it's gotta be gentle though like light jogging or it'll hurt!
