Non scale victory today - ordered jeans size 27 a couple of weeks ago - returned them and ordered size smaller and they fit great. Have not worn this size since way before kids but am still 6-10 pounds over where I would love to be. So obviously it’s not just about a number weight but also body composition. I have mixed feelings - happy with the way my clothing fits but impatient with how slowly the scale is moving. Will keep on doing what I am doing and enjoy my workouts and be mindful of my nutrition. NSVs are really important and motivating, too. I get hung up on the number on the scale, too, but there’s nothing quite as tangible as clothes that don’t fit anymore or clothes in smaller sizes that now fit. It feels good to feel good in our clothes.

Wonderful victory! As I tell myself (almost daily) the scale is not the only measure of how your journey is going. Waist size is extremely important. And how I feel overall - more energy and less aches and pains are all really motivating.
