Does anyone else find that their daily caloric limits as suggested by FS seems really high? Mine is 2200. I tried to eat that much a couple of times and actually felt a little sick! My daily average (even including those two days,) is about 1600 and even at that I am barely losing. They must think I’m an exercise fanatic 😂 (even though I told them I definitely am not.)

Normally to loose weight you need to go down between 1200 and 1500 calories per day...and I can assure you it worked for me 🙂

Most definitely. FS recommends 1900 for me and I generally stay between 1200 and 1500.

I wish I could be allowed 2000+ calories ad ay as that is what I normally eat and now why I am here. Mine is actually pretty accurate though, I had a breath test for my basal metabolic rate when I was at 150 (I am 174 now) and it was around 1600 calories a day and now it is 1900..so yeah it does make sense. However being I want to lose I have to adjust my BMR to be 1400 calories a day which is what it would be at my goal weight.

Yes it seems high. Mine is 1,700 which is 500 below requirement to sustain. I can get by with 1400-1500 without getting to hungry.

I felt mine was high as well (1900) and I felt so sick to my stomach from just trying to manage all that food in one day. I then decided to put my own number in (1500) and I feel so much better already + I am finally losing weight at that number. I would lower your number to what helps you lose weight and helps keeps you relatively full and satisfied.

Glad to see others with the same thoughts and problems. I lowered mine down as well but still don’t lose much. I have recently discovered why I gained so much weight in the last 2.5 yrs. Now to figure out how to undo the reason behind the over eating! Not an easy thing to do.

google "calorie counter" . gives you better calorie intake, as well as provide a zigzag diet for weight loss.
