Just need to vent for a moment- feel free to scroll past lol 🙂…

Today was a ROUGH day. Got into a pretty harsh argument with a colleague (and I am pretty non-confrontational), my mom has early-onset Alzheimer’s and is especially bad today(lots of phone calls, getting upset), and on top of it my weigh in didn’t move. That wouldn’t normally upset me but it’s one of those days.

Today was the first time since I started this that, out of pure frustration, I found myself marching to the fridge and staring inside… the old habit, fix it with food. I am not EVER one to talk about when I’m upset or who easily shares my feelings, so this is beyond my comfort zone but I also realize that my “normal” solution is to turn to food instead. So I guess I have to change more than my eating habits and learn to say when I’m upset, rather than eating my feelings lol.

This is a safe place; you can vent here anytime! We are here to support you as we all work together for the same goals. PS: my mom used to say, “everyone is here for a reason. The reason for a few people, is to make us appreciate the rest!” Sounds pithy, but I think it’s true. Same thing with some *days* in my opinion. Hang in there!
