Anyone have a quick easy home-packed snack lunch idea (that won’t make a mess in the car) for a road trip? Back in the bad old days I’d just stop somewhere and get a grease-burger. There must be better options than that!

wraps might work. Just pack condiments on the side so the tortillas won't get soggy. I usually do that. it's quick to make and easy to eat in the car

I pack turkey pepperettes, laughing cow cheese, apples, and homemade energy balls or protein bars whenever I go and know I’ll need snacks. F more of a meal - a denser bread like a 1/4 French baguette with an egg white omelette (asparagus, mushrooms, peppers… ) and a spicy yogurt spread can be made pretty healthy and filling will hold up fairly well. Just wrap it in some parchment and eat it like a pita. The omelette holds things cleanly together (and gives you more filling protein) and the denser bread keeps it from getting soggy.

I usually make a multi grain or whole wheat wrap filled with roaated peppers, roasted onions and roasted broccoli with a bit of a hummus spread. It doesn't get soggy and it's healthy and delicious. you can add chicken if you'd like. make sure to close both edges of the wrap so nothing falls out :) I usually prepare a whole bunch of roasted veggies in the oven for easy access from the fridge all week. Good for all types of meals. hope this helps!

I like hummas..individual portions and things to dip in it. Wraps are good, container of fruit, the yogurt tube I used to get for my kids when younger..just freeze them first and they act like an ice tray too. lol

I take healthy low carb snacks like peppers, cucumbers, kolbassa. maybe a kale salad if pulling off the road to eat.

Grapes, cheese sticks, pepperoni sticks, yogurt cups, apples, dried fruit, crackers, lots of water (even though you will make pee breaks), nuts, carrots, celery, peppers, buns with turkey slices. Hope this gets you started.
