On a side note, I picked up a 45lbs bag of water softener salt today and I was like “Wow this is pretty the amount of weight I have lost. This is so heavy!” Yay! 😊

I think the key to maintenance is how you lose the weight to begin with. Eat in a way that’s sustainable even if the loss is slow. Eventually the weight loss stops and you keep going because it’s for life. Other than that I have no idea just take it one day at a time.

I like the bike. so much easier on the knees than running.
I did the same thing with a weighted vest. wow I used to walk with this much more all day, no wonder I was so tired.

Awesome, I’m at a 30lb plateau and the thing is I can’t exercise, well not in the traditional sense, I’m waiting for double knee replacement and am not able to walk or stand for more then 5 minutes, any suggestions?

@angelc2869 my suggestion is don’t worry about exercising. It’s not required to lose weight. If you reached a plateau just go with it, wait and see where it takes you. Good job on the 30 pounds loss! Maybe eventually you can look at reducing calories, but I would not rush it. Maybe just wait and see how things go for a while.
