Yesterday was semi-controlled chaos, eating-wise. I consumed 692 calories just in sweets. Kept under 2,000 calories, though, and (thanks to bowel activity this morning) my weight is back down to 218.8. Heavy calorie-laden days planned for today through Sunday, but average daily calories for the week should be somewhere close to 1,750. Trying to allow myself to have some of all the special foods this season brings to our family. I had my husband HIDE the chocolate-covered pecans last night, as I can’t stop eating them. Probably keep them hidden til after Christmas goodies are gone. Dips and spreads are also a big temptation. Today, I will make the Spinach Dip. The Pimiento Cheese Spread is already in the fridge, MIL made Chipped Beef cheese balls yesterday, and my husband will make the shrimp & crabmeat salad 2m0. Problem is, they all need to be eaten with crackers or bread! Five Ritz are 80 calories. Five saltines are 90. I haven’t gotten the baguette for the spinach dip yet.
Just trying to keep recording everything, staying under 2,000 calories a day, and under 1,800 average for the week (up from original target of 1,750).
