I agree... Excess protein is a pathway to insulin resistance. But moderate amount is great!

I make sure to get 1g of protein per pound in goal weight. For me that’s 125g minimum daily.

Thanks and I agree, I do follow Dr. Berg and he gives some excellent advice on "how to" keto and keep a balanced diet. I hope I'm doing it right :) @Vikali1

That's exactly what my dr. Suggested for me, so I'm looking at 140grams of protein a day. I'm well below that, I'm working on the gradual increase looking forward to some high protein meals and suggestions. Thanks for the follow, I followed back ;) @StormsGirl

My Neurologist recommended Atkins or Keto for me.

@eatlittle I should revise. It depends on the source of the protein.I admit I am biased because I follow a plant based diet and I never have an issue with getting enough protein,
