Good Evening, FS Warriors! I am going to chalk this day up as a success. Did well for breakfast and lunch, and then played the gig at the seniors' gathering/buffet. There was so much food there, and some of the best fried chicken that I had ever seen. Fortunately, DW had roasted a couple turkeys for the event. Thank goodness for turkey! I love turkey white meat. Splurged a little with about a half cup of pasta with roasted chicken or turkey, and a little potato salad, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. I avoided the desert table. If I could exercise this much restraint with all that food staring me in the face, I can handle anything. Lots of work cleaning up the hall afterward and moving everything back to the church and home. I probably burned off what I did eat. We did 6 songs to conclude the evening, and the night was a success. However, I have gotten home about 9:00 at night for 3 days in a row now. Nothing going on tomorrow night that I know of, so I am truly hoping for a little R&R. I have stayed well below my arbitrarily selected RDI now for 3 days.
