I’m forcing myself to put both of these very scary pictures up as a reminder of where i was at last June and where i am at as of a couple weeks ago. Both pictures are scary for me to put up. I feel like i need a pictorial reminder of how unhealthy i allowed myself to be and the damage that extra weight has left me with in terms of skin laxity and how much healthier that i not only feel but i think i look healthier. This is a little terrifying for me and truly hope I don’t offend anyone.

Tjvoigts-calories in calories out focused on 100 grams of protein a day for the first seven or eight months, lower carbs and fat and unfortunately had to keep my calories around 800. I’m up to 1100-1200 now but my adrenals are failing, I have a sluggish thyroid and mtfhr gene mutation which all contribute to really low metabolism. I dont recommend such low calories. As I’ve added muscle i can increase calories but have to be careful. Cheesy you funny girl i love reading your comments on fs. I’m 5’9. I dont really lift weights much i do a lot of total body stuff, squats with a heavy ball and twisting, lunges etc although 2x a week i use the leg press and inner/outer thigh machine. Six sets o of each. My workouts are generally 45 minutes 2x a week and 30 1-2x week at home. I do walk four+ miles a day 6 days a week and sometimes 7. That’s it. Sharshine-i call ice cream my kryptonite so i stay away from it. It’s a slippery slope for me so for now i just cannot have any. Ive learned to bake protein banana choc chip muffins to replace the sweets i dont eat. Super—i will try and crop pix. I’m using my i-pad for my pix and sometimes they are blurry and sometimes not. How many animals do you HAVE??? I count chickens, kitty cats and? Please say horses????🥰. To the rest of you thank you so much again. (Cheesy, I think i got lucky i spent most of my life working out so some of it may be muscle memory-just the last 8 years got me). My husband is ocd about healthy eating and is an athlete so now that I’m back on track he’s not buying food that may cause me to overeat…stupid stuff like protein bars that i like the taste of. He replaced with built bars which i find disgusting. Im very blessed and i know it. I wish all of you success and happiness. It’s a day to day journey right. God bless you all😘😻🐶🥰

Basil, stereotypes have zero to do with my journey. It’s about me and self love and health. Want my outside to match my inside if that makes sense. Im just Cico. Calories in calories out. Running a deficit of 500 cal a day to get a 1-2 pound a week weight loss. Nothing magic. Focused on 100 grams of protein no white carbs, limited carbs and fats and dairy walking 4+ miles/6-7 days per week combined with workouts with trainer 2x week and 1-2x week on my own at home additionally. Hardest challenge is being hungry. I have other physical conditions which prohibit my metabolism from operating normal which then forces me to keep my calorie intake low to lose weight tho I’m slowly adding calories back. So hunger. I drink a lot of water never less than 64 oz and often up to 100 in addition to coffee liquids and electrolytes . But hunger is and was the biggest challenge. Also i like to mindlessly munch on unhealthy things so breaking sugar addiction has been not much fun either. Hope this helps you.
