I think a good goal strategy is to concentrate on losing 5 or 10% at a time. So first I need to get to 209 or 198. Getting below 200 again will be wonderful. Yeah, yeah, I know it's just a number.

My big problem with sticking to a diet is I don't want to "waste" food. There's enough egg salad left in the fridge for 2 more sandwiches, two large tubs of yogurt, a big bowl of some legume soup (I think). Limiting myself to fatty / carby stuff only through my second meal of the day, means some of that is going to spoil. Oh well! (guess I could freeze the soup, but it's not that good)

Grocery shopping today. Cat and dog food, small "litter box scooper" garbage bags, fresh veggies to put in the steamer for suppers, a couple apples, carton of eggs, couple cans of refried beans, carrots for snacking and a big bag of cheap chicken legs and thighs (to make into broth for me, meat for the animals).
