Oh no!! I hope everything if okay and this is an easy fix.  

Thanks, I hope so too MorticiaAddams... we really are shooting in the dark right now.. there are no obvious reasons, that these events are occurring... my edema acted up just around the time of my last blood-tests, but Liver function looks fine, so it's all a mystery... again/still. 

Looks like I may be up against a Chemical called Parafos... which can cause tissue irritation... if this is the case, I will NOT be a happy person... but my Lawyer can add this to the list of charges we are already looking at, to levy a lawsuit against this 'Property Management Company' disguised as a 'non-profit Society' 

Guess I'll be buying bottled water until further notice.. will keep the receipts for the Lawyer.

Erin, it causes skin irritation and diarrhea, both of which I have, and was speaking to another resident here, and he has the same type of symptoms... This 'organization' didn't even tell us there was going to be a 2 year long renovation on the building.. it started one day, and we got a notice that if we did not comply, we would be evicted... this is anon-profit, so they are doing God's work, and above the common laws of the Country. 

wow, that is disturbing! I hope the bottled water helps. 

EEEEKS not good. Hope you're ok, and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers hun. Bottled water is sounding like a safer option. 

So, this product is one of many that municipal water systems place in Potable water to help maintain water towers, tanks and pipes. In the US they also add chloramine (a bizarre mix of chlorine and ammonia) that will kill fish if you use it in a tank, Fluoride and quite a few other hard to pronounce chemicals. It's a common practice, these tanks and towers and pipes are made of metal, metal corrodes if you don't control the amount of minerals in the water. If you drink city provided tap water, you are ingesting these chemicals too.

Yes it is... here we use Chlorinate, no Fluoride and very few additives... we actually have some of the cleanest tapwater in the world, right here on this Island... one of my exes was a water filter sales rep, and when she saw the readout from the main water filtration company here, she replied, "how do you sell purifiers, when the water doesn't need it?" I have never had issues with the tapwater here except the smell of the chlorinate during tourist season. This Plumbing Chemical has been introduced directly into the Apt water feed system, so is supposedly measured out to suit the waterflow... But with the incompetence I have witnessed around here, I am very suspect of anything they do. There are others on my floor that are also experiencing similar symptoms. I just got back from purchasing 20l of water from the grocer's, so will see if my stomach calms down. I reported this to the Physician, so he is aware of my findings, and might adjust my blood tests to look for 'outside influences' .. I am waiting to hear from him, he may or may not need to call me back. 

Got a call back from the Clinic, there is no test for Parafos toxicity... huh???... we will however do a full blood workup, at the end of the week.
