Well that is a win win!! Just don't let it take you down a rabbit hole as that is what I would do because I would feel justified in having them then! LOL

Nope i dont feel justified my love i feel fortunate. Ive been upping my calories and i dont know if im still in healing mode and burning more or if (gasp) my metabolism is working better allowing more calories. Hoping for the latter. No more yummy milk chocolate in the house. Back to dark semi sweet.

Good call and that is what I would do too! I bet your metabolism is running in top condition but agree to just have the dark semi sweet around. I buy the mini morsels and add them to a protein pudding sometimes at night! Yum!

Bionici nope. True chocoholic behavior just ate the choc chips.. cant have choc chip cookies. Would eat the dough and all the cookies in one or two days.

YOH - if it's any consolation, yesterday was my chocolate freakout day, to the point where I was embarrassed to record it in my journal 🤣 Stressful work day. Found out there is going to be a change in leadership, and this person has been an amazing leader and will be sorely missed. Feeling scared and overwhelmed. Stress at work is a trigger for me. Weight fluctuated up this morning, but within the usual range, so I'm not too worried about it. Taking a day off tracking and off work today because I need my mental energy elsewhere. Going to drive into the mountains and look at aspens and get back to reality tomorrow. Babbling at the moment, I realize 😉

Writing, stress is definitely a killer. I lived and worked under massive amounts of stress for most of my life and my doc is positive this is what has caused my adrenal glands to fail. Take care of yourself. Breathe, meditate, exercise hug your kids, husband or furry family. Let that stress out. Easier said than done i know but you are such a caring sweetheart I wouldn’t wish those feelings to stay within you. Food that is bad for you just adds to the stress (we feel guilty or mad at ourselves after and so often shows up on the scale). It’s a hard re-direction. I wish i could help. God bless you honey.
