Went to the doctor this morning. She was thrilled with my weight lose and the diet I have been keeping. She says there is nothing more I can do with my diet. However, my A1C went up to 6.3% and my fasting glucose is higher, Pancreas is slowing down so she has put me on medication to keep it from getting worse. I was hoping diet would take care of it.
Also COPD is causing my oxygen levels to go down so she scolded me for not going to the pulmonologist when I was supposed to last June. She referred me to a new one that is not senile.
All cholesterol and triglycerides are down and excellent. Blood pressure is much better.
She wants me to stop walking and go swimming or use an elliptical because the walking is tearing up my osteoarthritis.
