I haven’t been in this situation but I would suggest still eating a protein rich 400-500 cal dinner. Maybe some chicken breast or scrambled eggs with some veg. You want to avoid getting so hungry later in the day that you would go get some take out or eat on impulse because that would set you back twice the calories rather than the 400 or so.

Fast the rest of the day! I do IF and am usually done eating by 2 or 3pm. But I will drink, maybe milk or juice

water, bone broth, tea with collagen, fruity protein powder in water, cucumber and turkey breast, a can of no salt added tuna and fermented pickles, no sugar greek yogurt with vanilla stevia cinnamon and pumpkin seeds, string cheese. Sometimes I get crazy hungry at night, so I tend to eat later... 🙃 good luck!!

This usually happens if I've gone out for lunch. A salad with lots of low cal ingredients with a piece of protein on top....chicken, salmon, shrimp is good. I often do a snack plate for dinner if I've had a big lunch....cheese, fruit, baby carrots, hummus.
