So, I went to my first Zumba class tonight. 💃 I HAD A BALL!!! 😁 You should have seen my bat wings flapping! I thought I was going to take flight for a minute! 🤣😍😅 Whewww...lol. Seriously though, I didn't do as badly with the moves and keeping up as I thought I would. I'm definitely going to work it into my schedule. It's a pity that they only have it twice a week, though.

I know the temptation, you wanna do it all...get, do it, and you know you need to do it while you are in the mode.....but overdoing it causes burnout and or injury, which causes set backs, so take one class for fun, everyone needs a little fun, but when the fun disrupts the serious work....well we see no progress.

@Deb Idk, maybe I will try to tough it out for a few weeks to see if I can get used to it. I did upper body strength training & zumba last night. According to my watch, I burned almost 1200 calories in about 2.5 hours. I came home & cooked dirty rice. I enjoyed it without feeling guilty or cravings for sugar at all. TBH, though, LC protein shakes have become a lifesaver for me! There is one from Shamrock. It's only 8 net carbs, and the strawberry one tastes just like strawberry milk! 🤤

I'm enjoying the ones I'm making from Nutricost Whey Protein concentrate (unflavored). I put one scoop into 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk, then I add a tbsp of Hershey's special dark coca, a tbsp of PB2 Pure, tbsp of ground chia seeds, tbsp of ground flax seeds, add 3 drops of stevia extract and I throw it in my magic bullet and bam, one Protein Fiber shake. It has 272 calories, 4.6 net carbs, 33g protein, 7.1g fiber, 11.4g fat, 655mg of both potassium and calcium. Tasty and it fills me up for a while. I do two of them in one day if my food protein is below par.

Awesome, Deb! That sounds very healthy. I've got an unflavored one I use at home too, Isopure. I always use unsweetened almond milk in any shake I make at home, but have starting picking the ones I was telling you about at the store beside the gym after workouts.

Ahhh gotcha, on the go grabs, I forget that you leave the house to workout, while I am doing it like 6 feet from my kitchen LOL 🤣🤣🤣
