Considering going a week without using the scale. I do fine with it generally because I like seeing the data over time. Lately, the scale hasn't budged from the same 3 numbers I see everyday now and haven't seen the lowest record since right before Christmas. It's started eating on me a bit. I do see that my overall shape is changing despite the numbers so I feel pretty good about that. I also know that it can be a number of things from water retention to muscle build. I'll admit that I've taken a break from counting calories -- just fasting with 1-2 meals a day.

Today, I saw a video of a lady in tears and stressing because she's been working out so hard and dieting but the scale hasn't budged for her in so long. I feel her and was reminded that it's okay to leave the scale alone. I just have to fight the urge to step on it every morning. I have to take a break from gym this week, too, so it's a good time to step away.
