My nearly 85 year old uncle who I surprised with over 30 people hiding in my office as a surprise celebration of his life for him. Ive been planning this for six months. People and family came from California, Idaho, Hawaii, eastern Washington and more. He is a widower and the sweetest man and i wanted him to feel how loved he is. This was me telling him i had something in my office and wanted to know if he thought i should keep. He was overwhelmed. His daughter had come from Hawaii and he hasn’t seen her in over 3 years. I was asking him if he saw her. He was speechless for a minute. It was such an awesome weekend. 2 of my boy cousins and their combined 3 children (and one wife, the other wife stayed home) spent the weekend at our house and my heart has been filled as tho with a fabulous meal. Which, i must say, i had a lot of 🎂 cake. Important to note that normally we have these get together when someone significant has passed away. I wanted to change that. Sigh…now everyone has gone home and im worn out. Happy Easter all. God bless.
