The yard always looking so much better when the grass is cut and the edges of the flower beds are cleaned up!! Left side of yard is finally done except for mulching. The city's free wood mulch did not look good at all...so I passed on taking any!

Wow, your garden is way ahead of mine (and looks fab!) I have a few things thriving at the moment - brunera, pulmonaria and bleeding hearts. The rest are emerging still. The weeds on the other hand? Yowza. Exponential growth.

Hi Ann!! I cried when I seen how bad the weeds are this year. It was almost as if they had a secret meeting during the winter to conspire against me because I'm injured and turning 65 this year! Sounds silly I know but they have never been this bad in the 30 years that I've owned this place! I've got my work cut out for me so I should be dropping the weight like magic...
*poof it's gone* NOT! LoL I take the term "working up an appetite" quite literally! 😂😂
By the way - I love Pulmonaria but she's a very aggressive plant - she's popping up all over my property, even in my lawn!
and the rabbits keep eating my Bleeding Heart every time I buy a new one! I will try one more time this year and protect it like Fort Knox!! LoL Good luck with figuring out what's going on with your right leg!! ♡

Funnily my pulmonaria isn't aggressive. She gets a bit wider each year but nothing abnormal. My Lady's Mantle on the other hand - she's a "give me land, lot's of land and the starry skies above" plant. Good thing I like her as much as I do given that she is good about choking out the everpresent Creeping Charlie.
