I have to weigh myself. I've been doing great this week. I did have some candy but not a lot. I've been working out everyday. Yesterday the kids were home from school becasue of elections and we did a small hike. I felt guilty that I ahdn't gone on the treadmill so I put a video on for them at 7:30 and walked. THat was all the tv they got for the day cause we were outside all day so I didn't feel guilty doing that to them. I'm eating good but wonder if I'm eating enough. See for me If I'm gonna exercise and eat watch what I eat I expect to lose. For me it's all or nothing. And when I don't lose I think "All that work for nothing!!!" and that's what starts me bindging again. Some people say it's all aobut caloried in verses calories out but some say you really need to eat lots of protein to lose. I don't know, should I see a nutritionist?

I know exactly how you feel when you stall. It usually happens to me between one and two weeks after I start. Some people don't lose for a couple of weeks and then loose a big chunk at once. I've heard that mixing it up is good. If you usually have you highest calorie meal at night, try having it in the morning. I'm doing the weight watchers points, but every once in a while I'm throughing in a low carb day; to see if that helps. Have a great day.

Thanks, I try to keep my carbs for lunch. My dinner meals are fish or chicken with 2 vegetables or 1 veg and a salad. I did lose 2 lbs but I was on that treadmill for 50 minutes sometimes. My husband tells me it will eventually happen maybe years of yo-yo dieting, my body thinks it's going into starvation mode. I have no patience though, if I'm doing everything right in my mind I think I better be losing a lot more to stay with this. I don't have a lot to lose so I think that 2 lbs for me is great. It's just upsetting to see the biggest lose with 9 lbs in one week. I know I can't compare myself but I don't like it!

Yeah, you definately can't compare to the Biggest Loser. They have a lot more weight to lose, and they have several workouts a day and a huge amount of accountability. I know, I feel like each time I speed walk for 40+ minutes I ought to lose something. Anyone who thinks this is easy has either never been there, or..? Way to go on 2 pounds. That is a great number.

Yeah I'm with sheesh, 2 lbs should bring cause for a celebration. I read an article where one of the past BL contestants was talking about what it's like on the ranch, and she said they usually did 6 hours in the gym a day, plus they'd have 'homework' of walking so much in their free time. So... I'm sure we'd be losing that much weight too if that's ALL we did. Unfortunately, life happens, and any time spent on health & exercise outide of normal everyday activities is a real accomplishment in my book!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all take a couple weeks (months) and dedicate it to NOTHING but taking charge of our health and fitness? Where we didn't have to worry about dashing kiddos here and there, or meeting a report deadline, etc.?!?!? I often say that if I ever win a lottery, I'm going to enroll in one of those camps for two months and do NOTHING but get fit and healthy. The rest of the world can go away. My family thinks I'm joking...mUHAHAHHA..nooo.. I really would do that. Ahhh...love that fantasy!! :) (and then when I come out of the camp, I'll be all glamorous for the photos of me winning the lottery, eh??) *LOL*
