Yesterday was a bittersweet day, I got my e-mail from the personal trainer and I have better bf % than expected! I'm at 25% not the 29% that I thought, sweet:). She set her goal for me at 20%, but I'm already thinking 18% b/c I know it's attainable. Now I just need to look into Protein Power and see how much protein I need to maintain my lean muscle mass and then what limit on carbs I'm allowed so I can continue to lose weight. As much as I would like to commit to a strict no carb diet, I just don't want to, lol. I'm not going to say I can't, b/c I think anything is doable, it's just cold, and I don't want to, so I'm not going to haha--that sounds pretty bratty on my part, but whatev. So, I found out last night that my temp position had ended (sad). I still don't understand the abruptness, but I'm a little dismayed, yet really relieved. I was just getting the hang of it, but truly Finance isn't my industry, I just go w. it b/c I'd rather not get paid peanuts. It's so insulting as a graduate from a 'good school' not that that really matters, ha!, but w. my degree I'm 'worth less' compensation wise, when most business degree holders just number crunch all day and play w. Excel spreadsheets (no offense to any business pros here). Okay, rant over. So yes, i'm just looking forward to having the focus back on my diet and fitness again, I've been eating a little more junk than I'd like this weekend, but I made it to the grocery store and got a few healthier options. I'm not sure why, but I feel like busting out the crock pot, so I got some ingredients for a ground turkey chili and then some for the wisconsin cheese soup I've been dying to make. I'm not sure how long it's going to take me to get to 18% bf but it should be a fun run!
