Lost 1/2 pound, pleased that despite the travel, the scale continues in the right direction. IT DIDN'T GO UP!!! That's a real victory for me when eating on an expense account. My trip had its challenges, and I won't be wanting a chef salad for a while, since that's all I had for lunch for the entire week...I am SO GLAD to be home and back in the safe harbor of my own kitchen. Next week, I'm off to Boston, but the trip is shorter, just two nights instead of 5.

Well, as it turns out, I'm almost in New Hampshire! I am a number of miles north of Boston staying in Amsbury, a place no one would know unless you live up here. I have had a good trip thus far, though dinner last night didn't happen until 9:00 pm (so European of me, don't you think!!?) I found a grill-type restaurant nearby, and so have managed to have good choices. It gets dark at 4:30 pm, so though it's only 7:20, I'm ready for bed, having already had 3 hours of darkness... I am truly grateful that even when I'm feeling starved, I'm able to order the right kinds of foods and steer clear of the high carbs I know and used-to-love-oh-so-well! Tomorrow will be another challenge - late flight home...then 2 Christmas parties on Saturday.
Ho HO HOOOOBoy, the holidays are something else! Everybody hang in there, we can DO this!
