I don’t even know how to explain it. I was totally bad today on my diet, and I still came in within my RDI of calories. Moderation is everything, and where as in the old days I would have eaten more than a handful of cookies during a movie, I was able to enjoy some treats by exercising some discipline (which actually isn’t so hard anymore seeing how I get full so much quicker).
Even though it was so great to have some sweets today, I don’t seem to need them as much as I use to. I think eating healthier food has reset my taste buds and I enjoy vegetables more than I ever did before.
