Did a fasted cardio workout this morning - combination of slow jogging and walking. I can only jog for about 2 minutes at a time before I need a break. But, at least it got my heart rate up into the 80% range and when I was done, I was felt like I had pushed myself. It's too easy to let myself go at a pace that I'm comfortable with (read not much exertion). I am going to aim for higher intensity workouts at least 3 days a week. I'll balance it out with 3-4 days of brisk walking.

Cool - you have made so many changes and are thinking about everything, ie. calories, sodium, types of exercise, keeping the days different. No wonder your health is improving - keep going as it is clear you are making this a life choice :-)
