I love the taste and the texture of an avocado when it is just beginning to turn ripe enough to eat. It is kind of hard getting the "meat" out of it but it tastes so much better than a ripe one to me. Just saying and my opinion.

I agree. They didn't agree with me when I first started eating them. But now I'm ok. They are best when still firm. Sliced with salt and pepper. Mmmm.

I agree, Tina! I always preferred them on the riper side, but recently, didn't have any, so I cut open a firm one. SO much better!

Hey, MomT you do look awesome, great new pic! Keep up the great work! And I love avocados too...not too mushy, but not REALLY hard either. I slice them up with tomato, cucumber, and fresh mozzarella and drizzle balsamic and evoo on top...sometimes basil...:::licks lips:::I want some NOW!!!!
