waking up to 39 and no wind yet...in southern il.. gooood mornin ...was thinkin alot about the eating plan an also about maintance yesterday...it all goes hand in hand...something to think about an keep in back of mind as i keep on my journey of doing better each an every day...i no longer eat a large portion of anything...thats how i got here to begin with..i now take an eat smaller portions an sometimes just a few of this or that...grocery bill is one half to one fourth of what it use to be...i usually buy ahead...dont really need to wait till im out...but back to eating now an maintance...as i get neared my final weight an thats still sometime next year...once i hit maintance..then its gonna be a matter of still eating like i do now...watching what i eat...an sticking to a plan that i can live with ...with a small amount of changing the food menu from time to time to enjoy something i think i cant live without...maintance is going to be just like changing my eating habits...making wiser choices an sticking with what i have created over this last year...by next year...and hopefully several pounds off...il still be riding my road bike an riding it farther...racking up more miles then i do now..able to go farther from my house...things i think about ....things i need to remember an think about so i dont fall back into old habits....old habits that are just a hand away...so easy to get outta the habit...my sister is also on this journey...an she was telllin me yesterday about using a water bottle to divide a soda into 2 waater bottles ..having only half a day...but she had been getting back into old habits an found 2 empty water bottles in the fridge...she threw one away yesterday...an is back into her habit of only one half a can per day...an accomplishment for her as she was drinkin 3-4 cans per day..depending on the stress levels or just the need for sugar...im really proud of my sister..shes changed her eating habits so much since april of this year...shes chanaged eating habits ...an joined the gym...things she would never have done in the past...and she looks forward to going to the gym...she does a 5 day a week routine...as i said shes come along way as well...like me shes already thinkin maintance is gonna be something that is gonna have to remain in place just like eating now...sticking to something that works...having the occasional piece or 2 of pizza..living with the upswing of the scales an moving to work it back off..an lookin forward to a downward scale or droppin the inches...we both have come along ways these past few months..

thanks everyone...im just happy that after all these years...she cut down on the soda and most or all of the processed food...shes done great...
