What did I do? I went nuts or something. I was eatting a muffin, which was okay because I had done alright with food today, but I took two bites and didn't like it so I went nuts. I had two spoonfuls of frosting, chicken salad and two peices of turkey. What did I do? I just lost it. I didn't have like a whole serving of chiocken salad just like 2 spoonfuls, but still. I had a major melt down. I just eat this eruge to eat and I can't stop. In 5 minutes I consumed like 700 calories! Now I am like on a high or something. I want to work out or run or something.

Hi Mimi! I was just making an entry to my journal and read your entry. It sounded like me several years ago before I discovered that I'm hypoglycemic - any refined carbohydrate - like a muffin with sugar and white flour, or frosting or cookies, etc. starts me on a binge - really an uncontrollable binge! Turns out that the refined carbs, like the frosting or muffin, raise your blood sugar really high really quickly. (That's when you feel like you are on a high!) But, just as quickly your blood sugar drops. Refined carbs are metabolized quickly. That's when you get hungry again and probably feel fatigued or even drowsy. I applaud your decision to get fit and healthy. Avoiding refined flour and sugar and sticking with whole grained products might keep your blood sugar even and prevent you from "losing it"! Just a thought. I wanted to share since I've been there and done that and I've felt the "guilts" when it wasn't even my own fault!

Hey that's really interesting information. No wonder everyone says "make sure there's more colorful foods on your plate, not anything white". White = bad food.
