Who am I - who do I want to be? Isn’t that questions for a teenager? But here I am at 40 thinking over the same questions, what do I want to be when I grow up? The people that dole out advice, we can call them “they” – “They” say you should just strive to be happy and healthy. Is that true? Or to be happy is there a moment of vanity that comes into play as well. To pick out cloths off the rack and know what size I will fit in- will that make me happy? Or to eat that bowl full of chocolate Ice Cream- will that make me happy? My mother also would count as a “they”- Whatever makes you happy dear- but what will that all be? It changes so often- I think what I really want is someone to look at me and say “You can’t be 40- you look GREAT for 40.” I think in my case, for now – I want vanity to be my motivation, yes I will be shallow for now- So I will keep that in mind after my 100th crunch for the day- and the next snack wafer instead of the bowl of ice cream- I WILL BE A SEXY 40 YEAR OLD- right? LOL
