Up a bit this morning to 161.5, but no problem. I did have some carbs over the weekend, cereal, small portion of lasagne and 2 weight watchers desserts. Overall did not go overboard or binge on anything over the weekend, but I'm sure once I start introducing carbs again I won't stay at my "low weight.". Still have just a little roll around the middle. I may revise my goal upward to 155, we will just see where the next 5 lbs. comes off from.

I read an aricle today that fat is not the culprit in most people's weight gain, it's the refined carbs and sugar and added sweetners (like high fructose corn syrup in EVERYTHING). It causes the insulin level to go up, and that triggers the body to store fat. Interesting -that is the diet I am on now - high protein (which contains moderate amounts of fat) and low carb/sugar.

I'll try to stay on this strict phase through the week, and see where I am. Of course Thanksgiving is next week for us Americans, so no dieting, at least on Thursday!
