I did not shatter the plateau with my low day yesterday like I had expected to, but at least there was some movement in the right direction. .8 is good enough for a day. I wish it was a bit more, but at least I'm not stuck at 171 anymore, and I'll soon be in the 160s, which will be fantastic, I don't know when the last time I was in the 160s was, so it'll be an exciting day for me.

I got an invitation for my friend's bridal shower, it's March 20th. I would really like to be between 160 and 165 for that. My friend has always been REALLY tiny, and she still is, it always made me feel like the "fat friend," the last time I saw her was over the summer at a mutual friend's wedding, so I want to show up looking thinner than I have in years. Just so that way I feel good about myself, I want to get a new outfit, and just look nice. I'm hoping I'll be able to be in a size 7 by then, hopefully.

Question, has anyone ever had to apply for Charity Care before? I need to, and the website is absolutely no help to me. If anyone has any sort of advice or help please pass it along my way. I need to get something taken care of, and without insurance, it's getting hard and really starting to take it's toll on me that I can't just go to the doctor and get checked out.

Alrighty, well, tomorrow's OFFICIAL weigh in day, so I hope I have a bit more movement down, and will officially be off this plateau. And the lesson I've learned, stick with your original goals, they're there for a reason!!

5. Being able to have a low-cal day and not be starving!
4. Time to be on the Wii Fit
3. Friends willing to back you up always (and bring you coffee when you have to work and they have the day off)
2. Tomorrow is payday
1. Knowing that no matter how old you are, if you need them, your parents will be there for you.

ETA: I've decided to have a day where I fast and see what happens. I'm staying hydrated. I'm just having one of those days where you're so angry, you aren't even hungry. We'll see what happens.

Sorry ... no experience with Charity Care. Is it something you must do ahead of time before your appointment? I hope someone has some good advice for you ... it is so difficult to not be able to access the care you need. Congrats on your continued progress!!! You can do it!!

I had Charity Care once right after college, but the people at the clinic I went to explained to me exactly what I had to bring. All I remember is SS card, license, and two pay stubs. Sorry I wish I remembered more!

I'm sorry, I don't know about it. But my sister uses it at the Shore. If you can't find any info today I can ask her. Or i'll ask her now but I don't know when she'll get back to me. She's a bartender and an early wake up is usually 2pm. I'll let you know. I hear you about the bridal shower! You will get there. Congrats on having the 160s in sight!

Sorry your having trouble medically - I know how hard and scary that can be. I wish I could say more than that, but I know nothing about Charity Care - maybe try giving them a call? And losing .8 lbs in one day is very good, don't be dissapointed about it! Hell, I fasted the entire day yesterday, and worked my butt off at the gym, and only lost 1.6 lbs. Last time I lost over 4lbs - you just never know what your body is going to do. Good luck with everything, and have a great time shopping for the bridal shower - I love looking for new pretty clothes!!!

Hey so my sister said she just went to the emergency room and filled out a form when she got there. But, yeah, as Chris said, just bring all of your ID, cards, etc.
