This is my first attempt at writing a journal entry, so bear with me! So, yesterday I went to the gym and decided to try out spinning class. It was a bad idea, as I'm not very fit, and didn't realise how much stamina the class needs. I ended up having to leave after 20 minutes, which was a little bit disheartening, but once I got my wind back I went back on the treadmill and cross trainer for a bit. I've worked out in total I burned about 300 cals at the gym too, which isn't too bad.
Today's been a bit mixed too, this morning I was a little bit naughty and had some ice cream, but managed to drag myself to the gym today and burned off 400 cals! Plus, I got half an hour walking in by walking to the gym and back, then to my boyfriend's and back, so all in all, I'm quite pleased with today.
So far, since starting the gym and diet a week ago, I've lost 4lb, which is really encouraging, but one of my main worries is losing willpower if I hit a snag. However, I'm going to keep updating my Diet Calendar and Journal so that I can look back and see the patterns for when I'm successful and when I'm not so successful! :D
