REVISION TO FAILING MYSELF...goood monday morning..guess what i meant to say yesterday was even though i have the keto lifestyle branded into my way of thinking..i plan to have a cheat meal from time to time an not feel guilty about it anymore..my body will adjust an burn off any extra calories as long as i continue to get my daily or weekly mileage outside or on zwift...

i did finally find the motivation to get a 13 mile ride in yesterday..took an hour and was a cool 61..had to layer up...which i just hate to do..but was well worth it to get an outside ride in for a change..

i guess im missing the occasional outside ride..weather is getting colder..my body cant take the colder temps regardless of how many layers i put on to ride outside...the kinetic trainer i use inside along with zwift is great..but its just not an outside ride..

Love your dedication Mike and although I'm also enjoying my favorite winter sports right now, I am really looking forward to getting some outside rides in too. Hope your week ahead goes great!!

I ascribe my success so far to what I'm calling 90% Keto... In the past my biggest stumbling block has always been the depression I feel from depriving myself... so this time I said that I'm going to allow the occasional off-plan meal/treat and refuse to feel guilty about it. I've embraced the fact that these off-plan meals/treats may cause my weight-loss to be a little slower... but it will still be faster than the multitudes of times I've tried and failed because I couldn't stick with 100% and decided I was just a failure. You have done so amazing, and I'm so inspired by your commitment to riding... keep on being fantastic!

I find that if I factor in my "cheat" meal I don't feel guilty, it has been planned and included in my meal plan, life happens, parties go on, holidays are here etc.

It is good to ride when it is cold - You warm up, you ride, you get home, go back in the warm and all along enjoy the ride - It sure saves the knees versus running
