Getting better on the calories! I am trying to get them lower, maybe a bit lower each day (or at least not higher), that would be great. Still trying to find the right foods that work for me so that I don't really feel like I'm "dieting" :) I look at other peoples diet calendars and have no idea how they survive on 1000 or less calories a day AND exercise! That's crazy! Hopefully it's something a body can get used to as the diet continues :) Here's to my first day of exercising while on this diet. Though it was only 15 mins, it was something! Maybe next winter I won't stop walking just because it's cold, it sucks to be this out of shape!!! Maybe, just maybe the elliptical will get me going to where I just enjoy exercising so much that you'll catch me in front of the TV doing one of the new videos I bought but haven't even looked at since :) Here's to hoping!

You are definitely on track by looking for the foods that will work for you. YAY on the exercising! Great job!! Keep it up! The BLUE CREW is racin' to WIN!!!!!

I go from high to lower calories in a given day. On low days I am not eating less quantity, but am actually selecting lower calorie foods, done up "tastily" and wind up eating the same in volume although calories are less.......

That's my kind of dieting susieq!! I'm making a big pot of split pea soup for the week, I love it! I'll have to post the recipe on this site. It's better with 1/2 cup of wild rice, but for phase 1, guess I'll have to skip that! Well, better go get a work out in before the day passes me by! :)

My biggest problem with dieting- besides that I love food- is I eat like a man-huge portions!!!More than my husband which is why I am in this predicament, anyway I've been going for my big portions in lettuce, spinach and zuccchini so I feel full but the calories aren't there. I want a good split pea recipe!-thanks

Ladi it looks like your doing just fine according to your chart. You've made a great start! just keep on doing what your doing as long as it works for you. Sometimes its learning process. Getting to know the foods you can have, how to fix them, which ones your body works better on and keeps you from getting hungry. When I try for a low calorie day I look for healthy veggies and proteins that are lean.

I'm with you Sharon! I'm a quantity over quality girl sometimes! Sometimes something isn't even really that good, but I love the texture, it's ridiculous. Haven't had that problem since I started this, but in the past, watch out! That's why I love to find really filling but low cal recipes!! I'll post the split pea soup recipe soon, it's really easy, and delicious!
