I'm a 48 year-old computer programmer from Ontario and I've been on a mission since 2003 to get back to my 20's weight of 145 lbs. Since then I've been between 180 - 215 lbs. Even at 180 lbs I was feeling much better than now. But at 200 lbs and over, my body tells me I'm not doin' so good. Time to feel better.

I live with my wife and two dogs on a country ranch. I enjoy the outdoors and going for long hikes in the woods. Whenever I can I'll get out there with my dogs and enjoy nature.

My wife is a great cook, and I've been in that terrible routine of eating all her good food. Not blaming her. I'm the problem. I'm an over-eater. I love food. That's the real problem. Exercise helps but not eating right has been the thorn in my side.

I've been here before - not here on FatScreet, but having gained weight from a fitter version of me. And, I've lost it to get back to 145 lbs. So, I know how to do it. I've done it before. However, age doesn't make it any easier. So, I have that against me, but that still won't stop me.
So, let's do this!

My goal is to reduce my stomach bloating and pain issues, reduce the size of my gut, eliminate the dizzy spells, feel more energetic, get leaner and more muscular, and require less sleep. I'm going to start with eating less and eating better for my body type.

Let's do this!
